Boxing May Be a Good Exercise to Curb Parkinson’s Symptoms

For patients with Parkinson’s disease, a recent study found that participating in a three-month boxing program may ease both motor and nonmotor Parkinson’s symptoms. Study co-author Dr. Roshni Patel adds, “There’s a lot of growing evidence about the benefits of exercise in Parkinson’s… This is another study that highlights the importance of exercise in the treatment of Parkinson’s disease.
