Low Back Pain Is a Common Work Injury.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reports that three million non-fatal workplace illnesses and injuries took place in the United States in 2018, with low back pain listed as the most common complaint. While the prevalence of low back pain was greatest among physically demanding jobs like construction work, poor ergonomics, bad working postures, and excessive vibration exposure have also been demonstrated to increase the risk for the condition.
